The Gorilla guide is by far the strongest guide mount on the market. It is designed to fit "in-between" the I beam making it physically impossible to move once hit. The guides will not only keep you center on your bunks, but they will also pick your boat up level every time! These guides are made out of schedule 80 aluminum pipe with a 1/2" aluminum backing plate. Our kits come with 1/2" Stainless Steel Bolts and an aluminum backing strap. They are made to fit 1" 1/2 guide pipes, sleeved with 2" PVC. (standard) We developed this design after installing hundreds of boatlifts. Our customers had issues picking their boat up after hitting the original guidepost and bending them. This makes it extremely hard to pick the boat up center on the bunks and also level. It makes a beautiful lift install look horrible aswell. Thats when we decided to create the "Gorilla Guide" Our Gorilla Guides are so strong that even a gorilla can't bend them!
